Our therapists offer a free 15-20 min telephone consultation so you can get a feel of what it would be like to meet with your therapist before getting started.
How do I book a free initial consultation?

What should I expect during an initial consultation?
Your initial consultation is an opportunity to discuss your concerns and goals with your therapist. During this free phone consultation, they’ll ask questions to understand your situation and explain how therapy can help. Whether you meet virtually or in-person, this session is about creating a safe space to explore what support looks like for you.
What locations do you service?
We provide in-person therapy services at our Timmins location and virtual therapy to individuals, couples, and families across Ontario. Our virtual services make it easy to access support from anywhere in the province, including Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Mississauga, North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, and others.
Fees and Billing
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes! All therapists now offer direct billing to insurance companies on your behalf through Telus eclaims. However, not all insurance companies allow for direct billing. If we are not able to direct bill, clients are expected to make payment for their services at each appointment via debit, credit or etransfer. If you have insurance coverage for Social Work or Psyhotherapy, you can submit your invoice to get reimbursed.
How much does therapy cost?
The cost of therapy in Ontario varies based on factors such as the therapist’s qualifications, specializations and experience.At Creating Connection, we understand that therapy is a significant investment in your well-being. We strive to offer competitive rates for both our in-person services in Timmins and our virtual therapy sessions available across Ontario. For detailed information on our current fees, please contact us directly.
Please note that therapy costs may be covered by private insurance plans. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your coverage options.
